Prior to Kim Miller’s coaching and fitness training, I was, to put it mildly, a mess.  After a lifetime of avoiding all types of exercise and with terrible eating habits, I was looking at middle age as a very slippery slope!    I had watched my parent’s health deteriorate at an early age, partly due to genetics and, I believed, because of their lifestyle.   I wanted to change, but had no idea how to make lasting changes happen.

I had tried trainers before, without much success.   But my experience with Kim was totally different.    She took the time to understand my lifestyle.   She tailored a fitness routine that didn’t overwhelm me, as others had in the past.  As my confidence and ability grew, I was able to stick with regular exercise for the first time in my life!

While I value Kim’s abilities as a fitness trainer, it was her coaching that turned me around.   Kim’s non-judgmental and empathic attitude made me comfortable enough to talk about the many hang-ups that had kept me from living a healthier lifestyle.  She is a caring concerned individual with the patience, knowledge, and ability that is required for her clients to achieve ongoing and lasting lifestyle changes.

Through Kim, I have an understanding of the importance of good nutrition, how not to diet but rather to make positive lifestyle changes, how to help a resisting partner on the path to wellness, and how not to relapse into bad habits during times of adversity.

I know now that I am and will always be a work in progress. To stay on a healthily track is a life-long commitment.   I  have Kim to thank for the progress I have made so far!

When we first moved to Ponte Vedra Beach we wanted to maintain the same exercise regime we had in Wisconsin.  With the beach as our back yard we thought walking the beach and doing some weights and yoga at home would be adequate.  We found this lacking and decided to use the exercise room at the Serenata Beach Club.  On our own we were not getting the work-out we needed.  We were looking for a program that would give us strength, flexibility and balance which seem to wane rapidly with age.  We are considered senior citizens and have the usual aches and pains that come with age, and as a result, it is very easy to be kind to yourself and not push yourself to do more.

We saw Kim Miller working with club members - young, old and in between.  After meeting with her we decided we liked her philosophy of one size does not fit all, and we liked her coaching methods.

We have been with Kim for three years or more.  I think we got younger, that is in strength, flexibility, balance and a more streamlined look.  We feel that we have not lost a beat from our age 10 years ago; in fact, we think we have gained a beat.  We have been very lucky to have a trainer and coach as well qualified, as Kim Miller

I have known Kim Miller for almost 3 years. Prior to requesting her assistance with toning, I watched her work with other clients. I had worked with other personal trainers before before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach and noticed that Kim had something special about her. I was right.

     Key differentiators about Kim:

Kim gently gains an understanding the client's nature and what makes them tick.

She doesn't bark orders - she encourages and gives  solid rationale to back it up.

As a RN, I can attest to her knowledge base. She self-educates, she reads, she asks questions, she attends workshops, she  stays abreast of all manner of health-related issues.

She works with me to develop a program that positions me to work with or without her.

Kim reaches out to new people, she creates and encourages team events designed to get people together.

She shares her life and welcomes yours.

                She listens.

                She cares.

                She enriches your life.

I would encourage anyone to work with Kim Miller and get to know her.  I am glad that I did.

When I first started working with Kim Miller over three years ago, I had been diagnosed with osteoporosis. I had injured myself many times working with weights in classes and on my own over the years.  Kim is a miracle worker - not only has my bone density increased significantly but physically I am sooooo much better looking and feeling. I play better tennis and golf and as an angler my upper body strength is amazing.

Kim is an excellent Wellness Coach, someone I trust implicitly. I have consulted with her on many aspects of wellness and what I can do to lead a happier and healthier life.

Please feel free to contact me any time for a recommendation or other questions.

I met Kim some years ago. I was 6’-3” tall and weighed 253 lbs.  I needed to lose some weight.  Kim became my personal trainer and over a period of time I was at 238 lbs.  In June of 2007, in North Carolina, as a result of a routine colonoscopy, I was told that 50% of my colon was ulcerated. I was then in and out of hospitals, unable to eat or drink anything and lost to 196.  My weight loss was muscle not fat.       I then returned to Florida and went back to Kim.  I had strict rules of what I could and could not do.  Kim led me back to health.  She is a very dedicated trainer, she is strict, puts up with no     foolishness, yet we still managed to have fun during our workouts.

Kim works with me three to four days a week.  When I return to North Carolina the doctors are amazed at my progress.  My colon is 90% in remission and my blood

work is good. The doctors give credit to my medication and to a strong work-out program.

When I have to go out of town or if Kim leaves we stay in touch.    I report to her on my home work-out status and how my drinking is going.  She keeps me straight.

I owe Kim Miller a great deal and could never repay her for what she has done for me.  I highly recommend Kim to anyone for either personal training or coaching.
